Wine Women & Shoes Raises $248,000 for Abused and Neglected Children!
Hundreds of generous fashionistas recently gathered at the beautiful Fairmont Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle for this year’s Wine Women & Shoes fundraiser. The event featured generous prizes, a silent auction, wine tastings from local wineries, and bites from exceptional restaurants in the Seattle area.
Women came dressed to impress, hoping to win the Best in Shoe contest. In addition to the silent auction and Wall of Wine, the marketplace hosted fashion vendors who also offered a “Key to the Closet” opportunity for a lucky winner to take home $14,000 in luxury gifts and services. Most importantly, nearly $250,000 was raised to help provide safe and loving homes for children at-risk or suffering from abuse and neglect.
Many thanks to our Chairwoman, Theresa Callahan, and the planning committee. Olive Crest also thanks our charming “Shoe Guys,” volunteers, and generous sponsors who made this event a success: Artitudes Design; Berntson Porter & Company, PLLC; Blue Nile; Citrone Partners; DreamCatcher Remodeling, Inc.; Gene Juarez Salon & Spa; Gossip & Glamour; Ilya’s Photography; Minuteman Press of Redmond; Pacific Place; Obadiah Salon; PinkaBella Cupcakes; Seattle Magazine; Suley Era; The Spa at PRO Sports Club; and Wine Storage Bellevue. Sole Sister sponsors included: Alpha Omega Wealth, A Visual Advantage, FIOH, Edward Jones, Tamblyn Law, Seattle Apartments Managers, and Managing for Performance.
