Wraparound Clinician

FT/40 hrs. Provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents enrolled in the Wraparound program. Develop and implement client treatment plans and provide case management. Must be AMFT or ACSW with intern number or license (position can provide supervised hours toward licensure). Position requires previous experience working with at-risk children and/or adolescents, as well as crisis intervention training. Must be a flexible, creative thinker with great organizational skills and excellent communication skills. Previous Wraparound experience is helpful. Peer Support Specialist

PT/30hrs. The Peer Support Specialist assists the client in learning the skills necessary to interact successfully with adults and peers across all settings; creates opportunity for client to practice pro-social behavior, problem solving, and coping skills which will prepare the client to transition to a less restrictive family setting with minimal reliance on formal supports; while maintaining a positive coaching and mentoring relationship with client/youth and serves as role model for client/youth to promote an optimal level of functioning. Qualified candidates MUST have been a former foster youth or recipient of mental health services and be at least 21 years of age; must possess or obtain Peer Specialist Certificate within 1 year of hire. Maintenance Technician (Riverside)

FT/40 hrs. The Maintenance Tech is responsible for the safety and maintenance of our commercial and residential facilities in Riverside and Palm Desert areas.  Duties will include, but are not limited to, diagnosing/repairing electrical and plumbing issues, repairing furniture/fixtures, maintaining walls, windows and doors, and diagnose HVAC problems.  Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of maintenance work and knowledge of current maintenance/repair techniques as well as reliable transportation.  The starting pay ranges from $25-$27 per hour based on experience.

Youth Partner (Perris)

PT & FT. Responsible for the supervision of youth (males and females, ages 12-18) in a residential group home. This includes mentoring and being a good role model, teaching independent living skills, behavior modifications and crisis management. Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age. One year of previous residential experience in a related field preferred, but not required. Bachelor’s degree required. This position is at an hourly rate of $21/hour.

Rehabilitation Specialist (Perris)

FT/40 hrs. Assists STRTP clients in learning the skills necessary to interact successfully with adults and peers across all settings. FT/40 hrs. Facilitate Wraparound process for Child and Family Teams. Maintain highly coordinated communication with all family members, system partners, and other individuals involved in the life of the child and family.  Guide the Child and Family Teams in the development of Plans of Care and Crisis and Safety Plans according to Wraparound timelines. Qualified applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with two years of social work or casework employment in the field of family or child welfare services OR a master’s degree in a related field. Behavioral Health Specialist (Victorville/High Desert)

FT/40 hrs. Provides direct service to children and families as identified in an individualized Wraparound plan of care. This position works independently in the family’s home and in a variety of community and/or treatment settings. Provides support services and skills training to children and family members including but not limited to behavioral modification programs, independent living skills, home management/household services, transportation assistance and temporary in-home caretaker. Qualified candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and 1 year experience working with emotionally disturbed children in an institutional setting or 4 years’ experience working with emotionally disturbed children in an institutional setting. Mental Health

Wraparound Mental Health Program Manager

FT/40hrs. Responsible for coordination and standardization of the Mental Health Program. Provide oversight, direction, and evaluation of performance of assigned clinicians. Monitor the performance of clinical staff.  Work with the Mental Health QA Dept. and other programs to coordinate quality clinical care for Olive Crest youth. Participate in clinical supervision meetings as directed by Mental Health Director. Assist mental health clinicians in the completion of assessments, development of treatment plans and submission of all necessary mental health documentation on a timely manner. Qualified candidates MUST have a MA/MS in Human Services and 3 years related experience; AND MFT Intern or ACSW BBS registration number required. This position is at a salaried rate of $78k yearly.

Intake Specialist

FT 40/hrs. The Intake Specialist is responsible for outreach activities necessary to building a strong referral base and maintaining program census to budget goals. The Intake Specialist provides timely response to all forms of communication concerning intakes and oversees all steps leading to THP+NMD or Foster Care program placements. Daily tasks include monitoring census, updating client documentation, maintaining contact with county placement units, and coordinating the admission process leading up to program placement. Qualified candidates MUST have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, university or business school in the field of social work; social welfare; psychology; child development; or education with emphasis on counseling preferred or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in one or more of the above mentioned fields. Parent Partner (Bellflower)

FT/40 hrs. The Parent Partner is responsible for providing guidance and support to families or caregivers in a variety of environments by utilizing the Shared Core Practice Model, Four Step Process and Wraparound principles to guide families through the process. This position will work independently in the family’s home and in a variety of community and/or treatment settings. The Parent Partner serves as a liaison for parent involvement and co-facilitates parent support group. In coordination the Wraparound team, the Parent Partner will develop and implement client treatment plans specific to the client’s diagnosis. Qualified candidates must have a HS Diploma or equivalent, must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and currently be, or have been, the parent or primary caregiver (not foster parent) who has/had 24/7 legal responsibility of a child who received services from the DMH, DCFS, Probation or Regional Center. The Program Supervisor is responsible for the training, support and supervision of a team of Wraparound Facilitators, Child and Family Specialists and Parent Partners.  Program Supervisors are also responsible for attending County Wraparound Meetings and interacting with County Wraparound Administration personnel as directed by Program Director. Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) Coach (Bellflower)

FT/40 hrs. The Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) Coach will provide immediate individualized behavioral assistance and 1:1 interventions with adolescents to provide additional short-term support to prevent placement in group home or locked mental health facility, or to facilitate a transition to a lower level of residential care. The TBS Coach will assist clients in enhancing daily living and independent living skills. This is a field-based position. We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and who have four year of experience working with high-risk youth. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Bilingual Clinician (Bellflower)

FT/ 40 hrs. This position is responsible for providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults enrolled in our Mental Health programs. Develop and implement client treatment plans, provide related services such as case management and collateral care. Work in collaboration with other Mental Health staff including Clinicians, Psychiatrists, TBS/Behavioral Coaches, and other program’s staff. Assist with the coordination and facilitation of Medication Support Services provided by the agency’s contracted Psychiatrist. Community Engagement

Family Resource Center Intern (Bellflower)

PT/10-12 hrs. The FRC Intern will work closely with the Executive Assistant to assist in day-to-day operations. The intern with assist with researching and planning events, monitoring and assisting in the tutoring program, and informing families about available resources in both the Olive Crest and the community. Intern will also help complete the FRC Monthly Report and answer phone calls. This is an unpaid internship.

Community Engagement Intern (Bellflower)

PT/10-12 hrs. The intern will assist with volunteer recruitment, event implementation and planning, community outreach and supporting our hosting program. The CE Intern may also work community events with the community engagement team. This is an unpaid internship.

Finance Director (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. The finance director is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the financial operations of the agency. This includes a wide range of activities including gathering data, organizing information, analyzing historical results, making forecasts and projections, making recommendations, and generating financial models, presentations, and reports. In addition to financial analysis, the finance director assists with annual budgeting and planning processes in conjunction with the Executive Directors, monitors progress and changes; and works with the CFO and Controller to keep the senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status.  Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience.  CPA License is preferred. Salary for this role starts at $130,000 per year.

Development Administrative Assistant (Santa Ana) 

FT/40 hrs. Responsible for providing administrative support to the Associate Development Director, as well as administratively supports the regional fundraising efforts. Must have strong administrative skills and work well within a fast-paced environment. FT/40 hrs. Responsible for classroom management, curriculum based instruction, instruction aligned with Common Core Standards, and for the physical, psychological and social well-being of the students. Responsible to carry out instruction for students according to each student’s IEP.  Qualified candidates must have a valid Educational Specialist Credential or be Intern eligible. Assistant Teacher (Garden Grove)

FT/ 40 hrs. Responsible for assisting teachers in guiding students in the classroom. Responsible for the transportation of students to and from school as directed by supervisor. FT/ 40hrs. Education and Employment Coaches shall support and implement the goals and strategies of THPP, THP-Plus/THP+FC Remote Sites, which includes developing appropriate supportive services, resources and a supportive environment; providing safe, stable housing; engaging Program Participants in job development/training, education, personal permanency and financial awareness; and developing appropriate opportunities necessary for Program Participants to transition to living independently as self-sufficient, stable young adults.  The Education Employment Specialist may work 10-20 hours in the THPP and STRTP homes with youth that are 16 years and older to development education and employment plans, which also include weekly workshops. Transitional Age Youth Case Manager (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. Provide Case Management Services to the non-minor dependents (NMD’s) that are participating in our Transitional Age Youth program. Meet weekly with youth to work on goals set forth to increase their success in all areas of their life. Lead Visitation Specialist (Santa Ana)

FT/ 40hrs. The Visitation Specialist facilitates visits as part of Monitored and Supervised Visitation with Transportation Services, a program that serves families with over 13,000 hours of visitation and transportation annually. Monitored and supervised visitation provides opportunities for families whose children are in foster care to visit with one another in a safe environment. Ensures the safe, efficient, and receptive operation of the MSVT program by supporting staff, intervening with families, partnering with management, and integrating volunteers. PT/20hrs. The Parenting Educator is responsible for coordinating, planning, and conducting training for parenting courses. FT/40 hrs. Responsible for providing supervision, protection and care for the youth placed in Resource Family Homes. Develops and maintains appropriate relationships with Resource Parents and clients that communicate acceptance, warmth, and interest and understanding. Adoptions Social Worker (Santa Ana)

FT/40hrs. Responsible for working independently with adequate supervision to provide a range of services offered by Olive Crest. The Social Worker must be able to provide adoption related counseling, individual counseling to parents and children, family therapy, group leadership, educational group leadership, foster/adoptive family assessment, placement, and post-placement supervision. The Adoption Social Worker’s main objective will be to complete home studies and do placements. In addition, the Social Worker must be able to do some public speaking, community education, community resource development, and represent Olive Crest as appropriate in community and other contacts. Adoptions social worker will complete home studies and will do placements. Qualified candidates should have a related Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family counseling, child psychology, or related field and relevant work experience. 12-20 hrs/wk. The clinical intern will learn to complete assessments, run group and individual sessions, and completed DMH and MediCal paperwork.  Must be a second year student with a clean criminal record.
