Mental Health

Outpatient Clinician (Palm Desert)

FT/40hrs. Provide therapeutic services to clients; assessment, treatment planning, individual, group and family therapy, discharge planning, participation in Child and Family Team under the direct supervision of the Outpatient Program Manager. Provide weekly individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients and caregivers. Maintain detailed records of significant contacts, incidents, relationships, treatment team meetings, group, individual, and family sessions, and case management activity. (i.e., Mental Health Documentation). Submit assessments, care plans, and other documentation to supervisor within timelines. Peer Support Specialist (Palm Desert)

FT/40 hrs. Assists clinic clients in learning the skills necessary to interact successfully with adults and peers across all settings. Rehabilitation Specialist (Perris)

PT & FT. Responsible for the supervision of youth (males and females, ages 12-18) in a residential group home. This includes mentoring and being a good role model, teaching independent living skills, behavior modifications and crisis management. Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age. One year of previous residential experience in a related field preferred, but not required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred or relevant lived or professional experience in foster care or providing care for at-risk youth. This position is at an hourly rate of $23/hour.

FT/40 hrs. Facilitate Wraparound process for Child and Family Teams. Maintain highly coordinated communication with all family members, system partners, and other individuals involved in the life of the child and family.  Guide the Child and Family Teams in the development of Plans of Care and Crisis and Safety Plans according to Wraparound timelines. Qualified applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with two years of social work or casework employment in the field of family or child welfare services OR a master’s degree in a related field. Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as effective interpersonal and communication skills. FT/40 hrs. Provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents enrolled in the Wraparound program. Develop and implement client treatment plans and provide case management. Must be AMFT or ACSW with intern number or license (position can provide supervised hours toward licensure). Position requires previous experience working with at-risk children and/or adolescents, as well as crisis intervention training. Must be a flexible, creative thinker with great organizational skills and excellent communication skills. Previous Wraparound experience is helpful. Facilitator (Glendale)

FT/40 hrs. The Facilitator is responsible for coordinating and implementing Wraparound services to each assigned client. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, one-year experience working with high-risk youth, and must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish). Starting pay at $26 per hour.

Mental Health

Bilingual Clinician (Bellflower)

FT/ 40 hrs. This position is responsible for providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults enrolled in our Mental Health programs. Develop and implement client treatment plans, provide related services such as case management and collateral care. Work in collaboration with other Mental Health staff including Clinicians, Psychiatrists, TBS/Behavioral Coaches, and other program’s staff. Assist with the coordination and facilitation of Medication Support Services provided by the agency’s contracted Psychiatrist. Case Manager (Bellflower)

FT/40 hrs. The Case Manager will provide case management services to a maximum of 12 non-minor dependents (NMD’s) that are participating in the THP program.  They will be responsible for maintaining regular contact (as determined by the program contract/Statement of Work) and meet a minimum of one time a week with youth to work on goals set forth to increase their success in all areas of their life.  The Case Manager will represent Olive Crest in various collaborative relationships with apartment complexes, job placements, school officials, county liaisons and all community partners. Executive Assistant (Santa Ana)

Visitation Specialist (Santa Ana)

FT/40hrs. The Visitation Specialist facilitates visits as part of Monitored and Supervised Visitation with Transportation Services, a program that serves families with over 13,000 hours of visitation and transportation annually. Monitored and supervised visitation provides opportunities for families whose children are in foster care to visit with one another in a safe environment. The Visitation Specialist interacts directly with clients and visitors by observing visits (both sight and hearing) and providing redirection when necessary. Unpaid Administrative Intern (San Diego)

PT/10-20 hrs. The Church and Community Engagement Intern is responsible for assisting Olive Crest’s Church and Community Engagement team in San Diego County whose goal is developing sustainable church ministries caring for families in crisis and at-risk children. This will include the administration, recruitment, training and/or coordination of Church Advocates, Care Communities, Safe Families, Foster Families and Biological Families. Will work alongside the Church and Community Engagement team to create awareness to expedite the timely certification of volunteers, for all aspects of Olive Crest’s church engagement strategy.

Unpaid Graduate Practicum (San Diego)

PT/10-20 hrs.  The practicum student will gain hands-on experience supporting foster families and youth. Opportunities to support case management services for 2-4 children including meeting the child’s overall needs, supporting the families’ needs, and learn best practices in supporting reunification when appropriate. You will also have opportunity to learn home studies and hone your skills in social work.

Youth Partner- School Shift (Goleta)

FT and On-Call. Responsible to supervise teenage girls in a residential program during their online school hours. This includes ensuring safe use of the internet, tutoring and ensuring the clients are staying on task.  Will also transport clients to off-site appointments as needed.  Must have a related bachelor’s degree.  Experience with special education is preferred.  Starting pay: $24 per hour.

Foster Family/Mental Health

Clinician/Case Manger

FT/40 hrs. This position will provide assessment and mental health services (individual and family therapy) to children and families in home-based, community, and office settings as well as therapeutic case management services to children in treatment and shelter foster homes. Case management services will include supervising the placement for each assigned foster child and ensuring that each child’s needs are met and that each foster home is in compliance with Olive Crest Agency policies. Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, human services, or a related field and must have a valid Nevada state license issued by their respective professional governing board or be license eligible. Supervision of licensure hours may be available. Experience working with foster youth is preferred. Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is also preferred. Background clearance will be required for this position. Must have reliable transportation. Salary range is $65,000 to $70,000 per year.

Foster Program

Case Manager (Bellevue)

FT/40 hrs. Provide caregiver support services to up to 25 children (case load will vary depending on census). Caregiver support includes the activities that assist the caregiver in navigating the child welfare system to support a child or youth in their care to access needed medical, social, educational, and other necessary services.  In partnership with the Olive Crest Licensing team, ensure that each foster and caregiver home is following Olive Crest Foster Family Agency policies, State policies/WACs and COA (Council on Accreditation) standards. Educate, train, and support foster parents in meeting the foster child’s overall needs and address any issues that arise. Must be able to attend weekly staff meetings at the Bellevue office. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in social services, Psychology or similar field, and at least 1 year of experience working with kids/youth. Must have flexible work hours, including some evenings and weekends when needed. Pay rate: $23-$26/hour.

This role helps to provide a supportive environment for the child/youth to help facilitate personal growth and increase a child/youth’s ability to maintain successfully in their identified placement. This role reports to and communicates with the Foster Care Supervisor. In addition, a Therapeutic Support Specialist will participate in program training and organizational meetings. Qualified candidates MUST be 21 years or older; have a minimum of a high school diploma and 1 year of professional experience working with children and families in a daycare, family home, school or after school program, children’s agency, residential program, or as a licensed foster parent. Strong Families Intake Coordinator (Spokane)

FT/40 hrs Will be responsible for client intake and coordination of hosting arrangements for Spokane. Will lead, plan and participate in community engagement activities that result in the development of partnerships with community resource providers and referring agencies (i.e. Collaboratives, Community fairs, one-on-one meetings, etc). The Intake Coordinator will be available to participate in engagement activities that result in the development of partnerships with the local faith community/Churches as needed (recruiting, developing, training, supervising Strong (Host) Families Program Church ministry leaders, volunteers, etc). Will also supervise volunteers and interns who assist with day-to day operations of community partnership/intake portions of program. Development Assistant (Bellevue)  

FT/40 hrs. Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Development Director and the regional development team. Some responsibilities include in partnership with the Development Director, manage up to two Olive Crest signature fundraising events including budget creation, volunteer coordination and event management; assist with tracking and managing various aspects of fundraising activities from donors utilizing a dedicated donor relationship management software program, Raisers Edge. PT/10-20 hrs. as needed. Preference is to have someone from June – October, 2024, with a 3-month minimum commitment. Will work alongside development staff to assist in the preparation for our upcoming fundraising Gala. Procure, pick up, store and manage tracking and documentation for auction and raffle items for the event. Work with other event staff to package procured items for the event.
