Residential

Youth Partner – Day Shift (Perris)

PT & FT. Responsible for the supervision of youth (males and females, ages 12-18) in a residential group home. This includes mentoring and being a good role model, teaching independent living skills, behavior modifications and crisis management. Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age. One year of previous residential experience in a related field preferred but not required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred or relevant lived or professional experience in foster care or providing care for at-risk youth. This position is at an hourly rate of $23/hour.

Youth Partner- Overnight Shift (Perris)

PT & FT. Responsible for the supervision of youth (males and females, ages 12-18) in a residential group home. This includes regular bed checks and monitoring throughout the night. Mental health

Residential Social Worker (Perris)

FT/40 hr. The Residential Social Worker plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the delivery of core services and supports for youth designed to address the mental, emotional, behavioral, and physical well-being of clients.  This position acts as a bridge between various service providers, ensuring that all services are integrated and aligned with the youth’s Needs and Services Plan. RSWs ensure that youth receive comprehensive, individualized services that facilitate their successful treatment and transition back to community or family-based settings. Qualified candidates MUST possess a master’s degree in social work, and experience working with clients in an employment or volunteer capacity.  ACSW or LCSW preferred. Must also have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, good driving record, current auto insurance, and be able to pass a criminal background screening. This position begins at a salary rate of $70,000/year.

Outpatient Clinician (Perris)

FT/40hrs. Provide therapeutic services to clients; assessment, treatment planning, individual, group and family therapy, discharge planning, participation in Child and Family Team under the direct supervision of the Outpatient Program Manager. Provide weekly individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients and caregivers. Maintain detailed records of significant contacts, incidents, relationships, treatment team meetings, group, individual, and family sessions, and case management activity. (i.e., Mental Health Documentation). Submit assessments, care plans, and other documentation to supervisor within timelines. Qualified candidates must possess a master’s degree in psychology or social work and possess a license/registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or the Board of Psychology. Working knowledge of computer programs including Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. This position begins at $70,000/year.

Transitional housing program

THPP Employment & Education Coach (Riverside)

FT/40 hrs. This transitional youth coach shall support and implement the goals and strategies of the THP program with TAY clients (e.g. job development/training, education, personal permanency and financial awareness). This role plays a key part in developing appropriate opportunities necessary for youth to transition into living independently as self-sufficient, stable young adults. The coach will use strength based and trauma informed framework with all youth, harm reduction principles, and guided by the Positive Youth Development Framework; use a variety of creative educational and employment methods provide one to one direction, weekly and as needed workshops, and group activities designed to address life skills, employment and personal development needs. Qualified candidates MUST possess a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and a minimum of two years’ experience working with at-risk children/youth. This position begins at an hourly rate of $24/hr.

Human Resources Manager (Bellflower)

FT/40 hrs. The HR Manager will oversee employee recruitment, employee relations, and other employee-related issues for assigned programs. The HR Manager will be responsible for intern and volunteer on-boarding, orientation, files and tracking.  Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ progressive human resources or managerial experience.  Starting pay ranges from $69,000 to $70,000 per year.

 

CHURCH AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Community Engagement Associate (Bellflower)

FT/40 hrs. The Community Engagement Associate is responsible for the execution of Olive Crest’s church engagement strategy in Los Angeles, with the goal of developing sustainable church ministries caring for families in crisis and at-risk children. This will include overseeing the administration, recruitment, training and/or coordination of our family advocacy model. Will work alongside the Community Engagement Director to create awareness and expedite the timely certification of volunteers/families, measuring the effectiveness of the overall strategy and consistency of outcomes for all aspects of Olive Crest’s church engagement strategy. Qualified candidates should have a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, experience with and ability to build relationships in the faith community.  Starting annual salary is $69,000.

Community drop in center

Peer Specialist (South Los Angeles)

FT/40 hrs. Creates a welcoming and supportive environment for trafficked youth accessing the Drop-In Center. Maintains the safety of the space for participants, co-workers, volunteers, and the community. Engages with the clients to develop health connections. Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field and experience with trafficked youth in any capacity. Starting pay rate of $24 – $24.50 based on a bilingual differential.

MENTAL HEALTH

Bilingual Clinician (Glendale)

FT/ 40 hrs. This position is responsible for providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults enrolled in our Mental Health programs. Develop and implement client treatment plans, provide related services such as case management and collateral care. FOSTER FAMILY

Family Resource Specialist (Bellflower)

FT/40 hrs. Responsible for the timely certification of potential Foster, Adoptive, and Safe Families, including conducting in-home orientations, coordinating assessments and home studies, and distributing, collecting, and tracking paperwork and trainings. Qualified candidates should have a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Hourly pay starts at $28.

ADOPTION PROMOTION SUPPORT SERVICES

Case Manager (Glendale)

FT/40 hrs. The Case Manager will supervise the placement for each referred APSS client and provide support for all individuals related to client with the goal of achieving permanence. The Case Manager will be responsible for conducting intake assessments, obtaining information necessary to determine which services are appropriate and available to address the family’s needs. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Starting pay range $25-26 per hour.

Parent Mentor (Glendale) 

PT/10 hrs. The Parent Mentor will partner with pre- or post-adoptive parent (and potentially, adoptive youth) to offer encouragement and support before, during and/or after the adoption process. Qualified candidates must have had personal experience with foster care or adoption, preferably through the dependency system. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Starting pay range $20 per hour.

PT/10 hrs. The Child Mentor will partner with children in the pre- or post-adoptive process to offer encouragement and support before, during and/or after the adoption process. Development Director (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. Responsible for planning and implementing fundraising and public awareness activities in Orange County that align with and support Olive Crest’s organizational goals for development, sustainability, and major gift initiatives. Qualified candidates must have 10+ years’ progressive experience in fundraising, preferably with a variety of non-profits. Managerial experience preferred. Starting salary range of $160,000 – $190,000 per year.

Finance Director (Santa Ana)

The Finance Director is responsible for assisting the CFO in analyzing and prepare financial information to assist in making financial decisions for the organization. This includes a wide range of activities including preparing financial and non-financial analyzing the results, making recommendations, and generating financial models, presentations, and reports. In addition to financial analysis, the finance director will be responsible for leading the annual budgeting and planning processes under the direction of the CFO, and in coordination with the Executive Directors and other budget owners. The Finance Director will also be responsible for preparing financial forecasts and cash projections. Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration, and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience. CPA License is preferred. Starting pay range is $130,000 to $150,000 per year.

Executive Assistant (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. We are seeking a dedicated Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Orange County Executive Director. Responsibilities include managing the Executive Director’s calendar, coordinating regional events and meetings, overseeing projects, and implementing organizational systems. The role also involves event planning and supporting fundraising initiatives, with a focus on making a lasting impact on the families and children we serve. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting leadership, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who works well independently. Starting pay rate: $30-$32 per hour.

IT Technician (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. Provide technical support to each of our regional offices and program locations. Support and maintain computer and peripheral equipment, configure and install computer hardware as needed. May require occasional travel out of state to other locations.  Qualified candidates must have an understanding of network security principles and experience with firewalls, ability to utilize disk imaging software, install and troubleshoot networking equipment.  Pay ranges from $25 to $30 per hour.

Teacher (Garden Grove)

FT/40 hrs. Responsible for classroom management, curriculum-based instruction, instruction aligned with Common Core Standards, and for the physical, psychological and social well-being of the students. Responsible to carry out instruction for students according to each student’s IEP.  Qualified candidates must have a valid Educational Specialist Credential or be Intern eligible. Starting salary range of $65,000- $85,400 per year.

Assistant Teacher (Garden Grove)

FT/ 40 hrs. Responsible for assisting teachers in guiding students in the classroom. Responsible for the transportation of students to and from school as directed by supervisor. Assist in record keeping, photocopying, tutoring, and behavior modification at educational site as needed. Qualified candidates must have at least a high school diploma. Related experience preferred. Assistant teachers with 30-day sub permits may also sub for a teacher. The subs will fill in during the absence of full-time staff. Resource Family Specialist (Santa Ana)

PT-FT/20-32 hrs. Responsible for focusing on the recruitment of qualified foster families and guides applicants through the approval process. Attends recruitment events in the community and local churches, as well as hosts orientations for interested parties. This position corresponds with anyone who inquires about becoming a foster family through our website, phone calls or recruiting events. Responsible for assisting families with completion of all the requirements for approval.  Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in the field of marketing, public relations, advertising, communications or related field; or a minimum of three (3) years of experience in one or more of the above-mentioned fields. Must have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.  Starting pay rate of $26-$30 an hour.

Residential Coordinator (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. Responsible for providing supervision, protection, and care of the clients individually and in groups always. The coordinator will be the lead contact in the absence of the Residential Manager, coordinate client medical appointments, ensures medical needs are met upon intake, and support the Residential Manager in an administrative capacity. Qualified candidates must have a BA/BS or working toward BA/BS in Human Services or related field and experience working with children.  Starting pay rate of $25 per hour.

VISITATION CENTER

Visitation Specialist (Santa Ana)

FT/40hrs. The Visitation Specialist facilitates visits as part of our Monitored and Supervised Visitation with Transportation Services Program. The Visitation Specialist interacts directly with clients and visitors by observing visits (both sight and hearing) and providing redirection when necessary. The monitored and supervised visitation provides opportunities for families whose children are in foster care to visit with one another in a safe environment. Qualified candidates should possess a related bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience or equivalent. Spanish speaking required. Starting pay rate of $22 per hour.

Unpaid Undergraduate Internship (Santa Ana)

8 hrs./wk. The intern will assist with supervised and monitored visits in our Foster Visitation Center.  In this role, the intern will support families during their weekly visits with children placed in foster care.  Must be in junior or senior year of undergrad program with a clean criminal record.

FAMILY PRESERVATION

Wraparound Director (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. Responsible for oversight and success of the program. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising both professional and paraprofessional staff and will have experience working with families with complex needs. The role involves monitoring contract compliance, fidelity to service model, and adherence to agency standard. Master’s degree required, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC strongly preferred. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Starting salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, based on experience.

Wraparound Parent Partner (Santa Ana)

FT/40 hrs. Works directly with families to provide social and emotional support and serve as a liaison between the Family Team and the service systems serving the participants, through a mentoring/coaching relationship. Qualified candidates must speak fluent Spanish and have related, personal, life experience as a parent or legal guardian of a recipient of social services.  Starting pay rate of $24 – $24.50 based on a bilingual differential.

Wraparound Care Coordinator (Santa Ana)

FT/40hrs. Responsible for the coordination of care for clients, especially those involved with multiple systems of care. Facilitates Child and Family Team Meetings to ensure that Child, Family, and all formal and informal supports have voice in the process. Quality Assurance Assistant

FT/ 40hrs. Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the department’s quality assurance for Orange County Programs. Responsible for accurate and timely data collection, entry, and review. Support overall program organization, communication, compliance, and administrative support. Qualified candidates must have related experience in administrative work. Fluency in Spanish is required. FT/40 hrs. Responsible for providing oversight to foster care case managers and hosting program intake coordinators, and interns. This role ensures compliance with laws, policies, and procedures, and supports team members through supervision, case consultation, and crisis intervention. Qualified candidates must have a related master’s degree in social work, marriage and family counseling, child psychology, or related field and relevant work experience. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Unpaid Administrative Intern (San Diego)

PT/10-20 hrs. The Church and Community Engagement Intern is responsible for assisting Olive Crest’s Church and Community Engagement team in San Diego County whose goal is developing sustainable church ministries caring for families in crisis and at-risk children. This will include the administration, recruitment, training and/or coordination of Church Advocates, Care Communities, Safe Families, Foster Families and Biological Families. Will work alongside the Church and Community Engagement team to create awareness to expedite the timely certification of volunteers, for all aspects of Olive Crest’s church engagement strategy.

Unpaid Graduate Practicum (San Diego)

PT/10-20 hrs.  The practicum student will gain hands-on experience supporting foster families and youth. Opportunities to support case management services for 2-4 children including meeting the child’s overall needs, supporting the families’ needs, and learn best practices in supporting reunification when appropriate. You will also have opportunity to learn home studies and hone your skills in social work.

Program Manager (Goleta)

FT/40 hrs. Responsible to provide on-sight monitoring and direction of daily operations at the assigned facility. Exhibit knowledge of and follow Title 22 regulations, STRTP regulations, Olive Crest Policies and Procedures, and Olive Crest Employee Handbook. Responsible for the supervision of the direct care staff. Ensures facility is incompliance with regulations and that documentation is complete. Qualified candidates must have a related bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience. Pay starts at $80,000 per year.

Youth Partner- Swing Shift (Goleta)

FT and On-Call. Provide supervision, protection and care of the clients individually and in groups at all times.  This includes developing and maintaining relationships with each client that communicates acceptance, warmth, interest and understanding.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.  Pay starts at $24 per hour.

FT and On-Call. Responsible to supervise teenage girls in a residential program during sleeping hours. This includes completing and documenting regular bed checks, ensuring the location of each client, and ensuring a safe environment. Rehabilitation Specialist (Goleta)

FT/40 hrs. The Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible to assist the clients in learning the skills necessary to interact successfully with adults and peers across all settings. Responsible for the coordination of care for clients, especially those involved with multiple systems of care. Facilitates Child and Family Team Meetings to ensure that Child, Family, and all formal and informal supports have voice in the process. Responsible for facilitating the development of the client’s integrated care plan. Qualified candidates must have a related bachelor’s degree and 1-year experience working with adolescents in a related field. Pay starts at $27 per hour.

Foster Family/Mental Health

Clinician (Las Vegas)

FT/40 hrs. The Clinician will provide assessment and mental health services (individual and family therapy) to children and families in home-based, community, and office settings. The Clinician wiill also complete assessments as well as develop and implement treatment plans. Case load of 20-30 clients with approximately 90 sessions per month.  Qualified candidates must have a master’s degree in psychology, social work, human services, or a related field and must have a valid Nevada state license issued by their respective professional governing board or be license eligible. Supervision of licensure hours may be available. Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is also preferred. Background clearance will be required for this position. Must have reliable transportation. Salary range is $80,000 to $80,000 per year.

FAMILY PRESERVATION/STRONG FAMILIES

Family Support Specialist (Las Vegas)

FT/40 hours. This position will provide in-home prevention, counseling, and support services to children and families as well as case management services to families in our Family Resource Center. Services will include completing family assessments, establishing service plans, and recording data into the county and Olive Crest systems. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, or a related field and at least one year of experience providing in-home services to children and families.  Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is preferred. Must have reliable transportation. Salary range is $24 to $24.50 per hour.

Church Engagement

Church Engagement Outreach Associate (Clark County / Vancouver, WA)

FT/40 hrs. The Church Engagement Outreach Associate is responsible for the execution of Olive Crest’s church engagement strategy in assigned areas of the PNW with the goal of administration, recruitment, training, and/or coordination of Church Advocates, Care Communities, the ILS Program, and Host Families. Will partner with Community Involvement Coordinators to create awareness of opportunities for church ministries and individuals to serve vulnerable children and families and work closely with the development team to grow church financial support. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or at least four years of relevant experience. Must have three or more years of work in a local church or non-profit organization. Must have experience in raising financial support. Must maintain a valid Washington Driver’s License and clean driving record in accordance with Olive Crest’s auto insurance policy. Must have a philosophy of support for at-risk children and families in line with the mission, visions, values, and statement of faith at Olive Crest. Pay rate: $67,800k-$75k ($32.60/hr to $36.06/hr) DOE.

MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM

Family Therapist (Bellevue & Tacoma)

FT/40 hours.  The Family Therapist will work as a part of the Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) team to help implement mental health and wraparound services to youth and families being primarily responsible for stabilizing immediate mental health crises for youth, providing mental health related crisis response, ensuring clinical needs are met within the safety/crisis plan, translating team-based decision making and priorities into therapeutic goals, providing individual and or family therapy as needed, partnering with care coordinator and WISe team to ensure a high quality WISe process, providing clinical judgement and ensure clinical needs are met through all phases of the WISe process, connecting family and youth to services and supports needed as related to mental health, supporting youth, family, and team in navigating the mental health system.  Must have a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling or related field and at least 2 years of post-graduate experience in clinical practice.  Must clear a background check, have strong computer skills, reliable transportation, have and meet MHP designation and have a philosophy of support for at-risk children, youth and families in line with Olive Crest values.  Salary rate: $78,000/year.

Care Coordinator (Tacoma)

FT/40 hours.  The Care Coordinator will work as a part of the Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) team to help implement mental health and wraparound services to youth and families being primarily responsible for case management, care coordination, partnering with community professionals and natural supports, aiding the therapist in the implementation of the safety and treatment plans, and facilitating child and family team meetings. Must have a bachelor’s degree in social services, psychology or related field, become an Agency Affiliated Counselor upon hire, proficient computer skills and comfortable working with databases and web-based applications.  Must be able to pass a background check, have reliable transportation and have a philosophy of support at-risk youth and families.  Pay rate: $27 – $31/hour.

Caregiver Support Program

Behavioral Case Aide (Spokane & Tacoma) 

FT/40 hours & PT/20 hours. Provide one on one trauma informed support to assigned youth to augment normal supervision for children/youth whose behaviors or developmental needs are challenging in a family setting. Therapeutic support ensures the health, safety, and well-being of the child and/or youth in their current placement or in the community. This role helps to provide a supportive environment for the child/youth to help facilitate personal growth and increase a child/youth’s ability to maintain successfully in their identified placement. This role reports to and communicates with their assigned Caregiver Support Specialist. In addition, a Behavioral Case Aide will participate in program training and organizational meetings.  Must have flexibility in terms of range of hours and days/times of visits.  Must have reliable transportation. Pay rate: $21-23/hr.

Caregiver Support Specialist (Spokane & Tacoma) 

FT/40 hours. Provide caregiver support services to up to 25 children (case load will vary depending on census). Caregiver support includes the activities that assist the caregiver in navigating the child welfare system to support a child or youth in their care to access needed medical, social, educational, and other necessary services.  Educate, train, and support foster parents in meeting the foster child’s overall needs and address any issues that arise.  Must have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in social services (or closely related field) OR 5 years full-time experience working with children or youth in specific professional settings. Strong organization, writing, communication and team skills necessary.  Ability to provide after-hours support, if necessary. Pay rate: $24-27/hr.

Housing Case Manager (Clark, Cowlitz and/or Lewis Counties)

FT/40 hours.  The Housing Case Manager (Housing Specialist) will provide housing support services to eligible applicants and recipients of the Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) housing voucher program.  Services will include both direct services to the client and system-wide services to assist in informing the design and delivery of housing support services across the state.  This position will serve youth and young adults ages 18-28. Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in social services or similar field.  Must be willing to drive in and throughout Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis and surrounding counties.  Mileage is reimbursed.  Pay rate: $23-25/hour.

DEVELOPMENT / FUNDRAISING

Unpaid Development Intern (Bellevue)

PT/20-30 hours, as needed. Preference is to have someone from May – September, 2025, with a 3-month minimum commitment. Will work alongside development staff to assist in donor engagement, fundraising, database management, and event coordination. This individual will also assist with other development tasks as needed. Qualified candidates will have a strong alignment with Olive Crest’s mission and genuine passion for child welfare.  Must be able to pass a background check, sign a confidentiality agreement, work collaboratively and with minimal supervision, be proficient with MS Office Suite, organized and detail-oriented.  Please complete “Intern Application” above to be considered.
