Foster Family/Adoption

Treatment Specialist

FT/40 hrs.  This position will provide therapeutic case management services to children in treatment or shelter foster homes. Will have a case load of 12-15 foster children and be responsible for supervising the placement of each assigned child and providing support to and advocating for the child and foster parents. This includes ensuring that each child’s needs are met (physically, socially, emotionally and educationally) and that each foster home is in compliance with Olive Crest policies, County policies, and State licensing regulations. Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field as well as prior experience working in the Social Services field. Family/Training Specialist

FT/40 hrs. This position is responsible for the coordination of the certification process and training foster families. Will also act as a Lead Facilitator for all pre-service and some annual training for foster families. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of relevant experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and prior experience with facilitating trainings (preferred). Will also provide as many resources, opportunities, mentorship, and connections as possible for the youth.
