Behavioral Specialist

FT/40 hrs. Under the guidance of the Program Supervisor and functioning as a member of an assigned team, the Behavioral Specialist provides direct service to children and families as identified in an individualized Wraparound plan of care. This position works independently in the families’ homes and in a variety of community and/or treatment settings. Will complete initial and ongoing training to include Wraparound values, program design, and implementation. Provides support services and skills training to children and family members including but not limited to behavioral modification programs, independent living skills, home management/household services, transportation assistance and temporary in-home caretaker. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a minimum of one year experience working with at-risk children/youth, or four years relevant experience working with at-risk children/youth.
