If you've ever wondered exactly what Olive Crest does, you're invited to our monthly Olive Crest 101 Q&A sessions in the Olive Crest boardroom! Held the last Thursday of each month from 7:30 -9 a.m., Olive Crest staff will answer your questions and we’ll present you with volunteer opportunities to connect your personal experience and skills to our organization to help break the cycle of child abuse. October 9, 2009 - 8th Annual Wine Procurement Party,
"Grape Expectations"
Our expectations were surpassed at the Bellevue Towers with 100 bottles of wine contributed to our March 6, 2010 Gala Auction, raising $10,200! Thank you Allison Reid, Wine Party Chair and the 125 guests and volunteers who enjoyed appetizers from the Purple Café and Wine Bar while tasting wine from O'Shea Scarborough and Darby Winery. October 2, 2009 - Elevate 2009 Dinner & Fashion Show
With champagne flowing and models strutting down the runway, this first time event blew us all away! Thanks to Karan Dannenberg Clothier and her team who raised $20,000 to benefit the children of Olive Crest! The event sold out! Many of the 150 guests had never heard our compelling Olive Crest story before. If you have an idea for an event that could benefit Olive Crest, please contact Toni Young. 

September 21 - 8th Annual Golf Tournament
The Overlake Golf and Country Club was a class act for our Golf Tournament. The event raised over $73,500 to help our kids! 107 golfers turned out for the best day of the year! Marianne Metzger was the winner of the helicopter Ball Drop. She graciously donated half of her $5,000 back to Olive Crest! Now that's a HOLE-IN-ONE! Cruise 4 Kids - Over 300 Participants!
Olive Crest's 1st Annual Cruise 4 Kids Harley-Davidson motorcycle and poker run raised over $28,000! Bikers road to seven dealerships from Sound Harley-Davidson in Marysville to Legend Harley-Davidson in Silverdale. The winner of the $20,000 Harley-Davidson Softail Classic was Tammy Stillwell from Langley, WA. Thank you to all the Kohl's volunteers at each dealership and the Project Management Team who put the ride together: Karla Vitalone, Ben Rutkowski, Adam Tamble, Johannes van Gend, and Russ Williams. The Power of One Luncheon - $10,000 Raised!
Many thanks to all who attended The Power of One Luncheon featuring Fostering Together with guest speaker Doug Sauder on May 14th. Three South King County foster families were honored for their compassion and parenting! We were truly blessed with 104 attendees recruiting new volunteers and prayer partners, as well as scheduling many more Fostering Together presentations to raise awareness for more foster parents. A special thanks to our volunteer Project Management Team: Mary Mikulencak, Kinga Kozlowska, Melinda Hu, and Marla Bitter.
