Relative Care Mentors
Olive Crest offers experienced relative caregivers who are available to offer valuable insight, guidance and support to relative caregivers through the sharing of personal experiences.
Referral Services
Olive Crest will assist in providing information and resource linkages for families seeking services within their local Orange County communities.
Support Groups and Workshops
Provide education and networking opportunities aimed at achieving success by addressing specific needs of relative caregivers.
Respite Services
Local certified families may be available for relative caregivers who need a break in order to refresh and renew their commitment to parenting.
Individual and Family Counseling
Resources can link relative caregivers and children who are in crisis, children who are hesitant about being adopted, and families at risk of placement disruptions, with qualified counseling services.
Legal Guardianship/Adoption Mediation
Sessions may be facilitated by Olive Crest staff to help determine and coordinate the best possible permanency plan for a child in your care.
Parent Education
Provide educational opportunities to better equip relative caregivers to address common parenting concerns.
Educational Support
Advocates for families regarding school related issues and will assist relative caregivers in navigating the process for special education and academic support.
