Pacific Northwest

Bellevue

A 16-year-old boy would like a guitar. He wants to learn how to play and his was sold by a foster brother for drug money. He also needs 3D Puzzles. He needs a positive activity to get involved with this summer and he enjoys puzzles and their challenges.

A foster mother, needs a crib. She has expressed interest in taking immediate placements, siblings, and expectant mother’s and their babies. But needs a crib to meet the licensing requirements.

Donate a van! With the growing number of children some foster parents have to shuffle around, help a family enjoy being in the car together.

Orthodontic services or underwriting for a 15-year-old girl which would boost her self-esteem and would be wonderful to have off before senior pictures!

Diapers are always needed in all sizes. Costco is a great place to shop for diapers.
Booster seats for our growing number of kids.
Plastic slide to enjoy the summer months in a foster parent’s backyard.
Swing set for a family who lives in a rural area and has no parks near by.
Washer & Dryer – Foster family has 6 foster kids and needs one!
Bunk Beds & Mattresses

Thank you Sleep Country USA for donating a number of Wild Wave tickets for our families this summer!

Other needs for the summer:

Tickets – Help the families and case managers give our kids a fun filled summer to the Seattle Center, Pacific Science Center, Zoo, Family Fun Center, Wild Waves, NW Trek, Aquarium, Point Defiance, Great Wolf Lodge, Mariner and Sounder Day Games, Ride up the Space Needle or on a Ferry Boat, also shows, plays, movies, museums, and other activities in the Seattle, Eastside and Tacoma areas.

Restaurant Gift Cards - Another way for families and case managers to bond with the kids is to take them out to lunch. This is a real treat for many of our kids to feel special. Some ideas are: Subway, Red Robin, The Cheese Factory and other family friendly restaurants.

Clothing Gift Cards – Many of our kids have never had new clothes for school. Help our foster families enjoy going shopping together: Payless Shoes, Old Navy, JC Penneys, Sears, Target, Fred Meyer, Wal-Mart and other department stores would be helpful.

Spokane ski passes, and other activities in Eastern Washington.

Immediate needs for the Family Resource Center for August are feminine hygiene products (maxi pads and tampons) and nonperishable food items for the food pantry. We are in need of clothes and shoes for children ages 3 and up. When children arrive at Olive Crest, they seldom have any belongings. Shoes and pajamas are needed immediately, as well as undergarments and socks.
